Loïs Pelfini studied law at Geneva University and undertook a one year exchange at Exeter University (UK). Following law school, she completed a first legal internship at the Geneva cantonal administration, where she practiced in the fields of civil and criminal law. She later joined the law firm Aubert Spinedi Street & Partners as a trainee, then became an associate in 2021.
